September 20, 2023 EU Lawmakers Approve SAF Blending Mandate By Lauren Arena & Felicity Cousins The European Parliament has adopted a proposal to mandate sustainable aviation fuel usage targets for airlines in Europe. The regulation will require airlines to increase their use of sustainable fuels for flights departing from EU airports from 2025.
